How MetTel & Our Customers are Transforming Communications
Digital transformation was top of mind for many of our customers and partners over this last year. As cloud, IoT, SD-WAN, and 5G continue to dominate the discussions we’ve had over the last 12 months, enterprises are increasingly asking us for solutions—and partners are turning to MetTel to help solve critical telecommunications, network, and mobility issues for their end-users and innovate new ways to communicate. 2019 was a remarkable year of transformation and recognition for the MetTel ecosystem.
Here are just a few of the highlights we plan to build on in 2020:

From State to Federal—Government Agencies Increasingly Turn to MetTel
Government agencies are looking to MetTel to help digitally transform their mobility. Read about the Pentagon announcement awarding MetTel a $994 million U.S. Defense contract for wireless services and devices. The State of New York announced that it awarded MetTel as a provider of mobility, voice and data services. And, Oorah! the United States Marine Corps Recruiting Command selected MetTel to provide broadband internet services to recruiting command centers around the globe.

MetTel is Using IoT & Artificial Intelligence to Keep Our Public Spaces Safer
MetTel is helping enterprise customers such as:
The City of Phoenix to reduce waste and deliver water more efficiently through IoT solutions as part of a Smart City transformation.
Global financial services technology leader FIS to digitize banking networks worldwide through software-defined SD-WAN solutions.
Brosnan Risk to keep commercial drivers, shoppers and public spaces safe through IoT technology that uses vehicle surveillance video that uses artificial intelligence to detect and predict unusual or unsafe patterns, providing actionable insights.

Connect Smarter with MetTel’s Video Series
To help our customers and partners better understand MetTel’s full capabilities, we recently launched a series of videos covering the latest trends in network communications and mobility to address some of the ‘pain points’ customers are facing. Our corporate video provides an overview of the full range of MetTel’s capabilities. For many of our customers, Plain Old Telephone Service, or POTS, is still a reality—especially companies that rely on copper for critical services like fire alarms, emergency lines, and security. All require copper lines. With many carriers sunsetting support for copper wire and the cost of maintaining them rising, MetTel is transforming POTS with a digital “POTS in a Box” solution.

MetTel Recognized for Market Leadership & Diversity
Some of our proudest moments in 2019 came through industry recognition for helping guide organizations through digital transformation with innovative technologies such as SD-WAN and intelligent platforms like the MetTel Portal. IT research giant Gartner featured MetTel as a leader in two key market guides this year including the Market Guide for SD-WAN Managed Services and the Market Guide for Telecom Expense Management. In addition to receiving the AT&T “Market Mover” Award, recognizing MetTel as the top overall partner for both wireless/mobility and wireline connectivity. MetTel received industry and peer recognition by The American Business Awards for helping customers map to future trends and technologies through the annual MetTel Innovation Summit, as well as multiple Stevie® Awards for Customer Service in IT and Telecommunications.
Not only was MetTel honored by the industry, but we were also recognized for the diversity of our workforce. We were named the “Most Diverse Tech Company” for the second year in a row, confirming that our diverse workplace produces the best solutions for our diverse customer base.
