MetTel has won a potential 13-year, $711M task order to provide wide-area network and data services for the State Department.
The task order awarded under the General Services Administration’s Enterprise Infrastructure Services contract for telecommunications support includes the delivery of a fully managed layer 3 Multiprotocol Label Switching network, Internet Protocol Service and Ethernet Transport Service, MetTel said Tuesday.
The company will support the department’s telecommunications, wireless and data services division as it works to modernize its network into a software-defined WAN platform converging voice, video and data services.
