MetTel’s SD-WAN solution has helped us realize some cost savings, but that was pretty immediate. And then because we came from an MPLS network that was, at the time, expensive. I feel like we were probably kind of early adopters of SD-WAN. There was a lot of hype in the media about it, but I didn’t really see a lot of people that were providing that.
[MetTel Managed SD-WAN solution has provided] cost savings and also redundancy and resiliency to the network [which are] key in our industry. We’re a manufacturing company, but we also have multiple retail outlets. So having those branches up and available during normal business hours was important to us.
We run everything off our network, not just the data, but we also run a voice network over that. So it’s important, when customers are calling that they can get through.
